We found the cottage and location perfect. Our friends met up here and were amazed by the cottage too. So clean and a true home from home. We will be back. (Returned Feb 2016)

We had a great week. Cottage and location were fab. All the local shops, butcher, fish shop, bakeries, cafes. No need to visit a supermarket!

Extremely well equipped home from home, with all the comforts. Lovely Amble as usual. Thanks Sandra, we will be back. (Returning July 2016)

Quality time in a lovely location with all we needed – even a mixer for the pancakes. Lovely, warm and cosy and a very high standard of cleanliness. Very impressed. You have a lovely home Sandra.

We had a wonderful short, autumnal break. The cottage is lovely, cosy and homely. A mix of old and new. We felt instantly at home here and can’t wait to return.

Home from home, we have been very comfortable and could easily live here!

A lovely cottage with everything you could possibly need; I even borrowed the walking stick.

The house has been very comfortable with all mod-cons, and exceeded our expectations.

A lovely warm, comfortable, relaxing place to stay, you have thought of everything. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back in the future.

The kitchen is very well equipped. I even managed to bake a couple of cakes, and found some thread to sew on a button. I loved the original features. A great holiday, and a cosy house, bigger than it looks. We were very relaxed here and enjoyed the homeliness.

The house is lovely . It is neat, clean, well maintained – a credit to you both – no wonder you love your home town so much. We felt so at home here and very comfortable.

An excellent base for touring the region. Very comfortable cottage, everything so well thought out, and so close to the sea.

Lovely week – the house always toastie warm even though average of 7c outside! Loved Warkworth, Alnmouth, Cragside. Need more time, must come back soon.

Cheryl wants to take your new kitchen home! When we come back it will be for a longer stay

Fell in love with the cottage and all its original features. Immaculate and very homely.

Arrived on the day of The Great Flood having taken 6 hours to travel 98 miles, but worth it for this excellent base from which we’ve toured the area, and of course the fish and chips.

Excellent and well equipped cottage, it’s a bit like the Tardis when you walk in, it just goes on and on.

A lovely, cosy, warm and comfy cottage, a real home from home.
